Having some fun with the Losi 5IVE-T Brushless indoors

Some times all the hustle and bustle around our shop we just have stop and enjoy. So we strapped a couple fresh 4s Kypom packs in our newly brushless SkoPod converted Losi 5IVE-T. It was late and dark outside so we decided to use our back half of the shop (where our new indoor track is going in) as a playground for this beast of a machine.

I was driving the Losi while SkoPod was filming. In order for my blind eyes to hit the small ramp I was back behind the takeoff point so it was difficult to adjust for my landings as I had limited view. But it was amazing what this truck can do in such a short distance. The control we had in the air via brake and throttle was equivalent to the crazy 1/10 stuff out there. It was a trip to be able to throw a 1/5 scale electric around like that.

The control and power in a converted brushless large scale is simply amazing. It may not be everyones cup of tea but man is it fun. The potential for a serious track machine is beyond anything in gas. It could really make for a great show on a race track.
